Xyclovirax Forte 800 mg Tablet

Xyclovirax Forte contains aciclovir 800 mg, a nucleoside analogue antiviral that inhibits the replication of herpes simplex viruses (HSV-1 & HSV-2) and varicella-zoster virus (VZV). It works by selectively targeting the viral enzyme thymidine kinase to convert aciclovir to its active forms, which then interfere with viral DNA elongation. This formulation is intended for more serious or extensive viral outbreaks, such as herpes zoster or severe genital herpes, where higher/more frequent doses are needed. It must be used under medical supervision.
