Travocort Cream (Isoconazole Nitrate + Diflucortolone Valerate 10 mg/1 mg per g)

Travocort Cream combines Isoconazole Nitrate (1% w/w; 10 mg/g), an imidazole antifungal agent, with Diflucortolone Valerate (0.1% w/w; 1 mg/g), a potent corticosteroid. This formulation is indicated for superficial fungal skin infections that are also highly inflamed or have eczematous changes (swelling, redness, burning), especially in regions like groin, interdigital spaces, hands, feet. It helps reduce the fungal burden while simultaneously relieving inflammation, itching, and discomfort. The creamy base is opaque, white to slightly yellowish. Treatment is typically applied twice daily; once inflammation subsides, therapy should be switched to an antifungal preparation without corticosteroid.
