Molutrex 5% Potassium Hydroxide Solution

Molutrex is a medical device formulated as a 5% potassium hydroxide solution intended to treat molluscum contagiosum—a benign, viral skin condition. It is applied locally to the molluscum lesions once or twice daily until redness / inflammation appears (usually within 2 to 10 days). No rinsing is required. It is suitable for children aged 2 years and older, and can be used on face and body except around eyes or mucosal areas. The product comes in a 3 mL bottle, includes 2 applicators, class IIa medical device under CE regulation.
